Whenever we visit Mont Tremblant, we struggle with choosing the best activities and experiences because there are so many choices. You really need to make several trips in the winter season just to experience it all. After visiting a handful of times, we came up with the ultimate Mont Tremblant winter itinerary. Use it as a guide to help you plan your vacation, alter it slightly to fit your family, or leave it alone and start booking. Whatever you choose, your Mont Tremblant winter itinerary is going to be epic.
3 Day Mont Tremblant Winter Itinerary
Day One – Mont Tremblant Winter Itinerary
Check in at Tour des Voyageurs
There are plenty of accommodation options to choose from at Mont Tremblant but for this itinerary, we chose Tour des Voyageurs. Ideally located at the bottom of Tremblant’s pedestrian village, Tour des Voyageurs offers fully renovated condos, indoor parking, an outdoor hot tub, a fitness room, ski and snowboard lockers, WiFi, and onsite laundry. With kitchenettes and plenty of space, Tour des Voyageurs is a great starting point for your Mont Tremblant winter trip. You can bring breakfast foods and begin your day with family in the comfort of your own kitchen.
La Pizzateria
If you arrive before check-in on day one of your Mont Tremblant winter itinerary, it gives you a chance to explore the village before your adventures begin.
La Pizzateria, half way up the village, is the perfect place to grab thin pizzas with different topping combinations or a delicious calzone with toppings of your choice.
We saw a deer walk by the restaurant while we were dining on their enclosed, heated patio. The views are lovely and the staff are friendly.
Virtual Reality Activity
Tremblant’s Virtual Reality Experience Centre is the latest indoor experience at Mont Tremblant. You can try an immersive VR ride like the Extreme Roller Coaster Ride in full-motion seats or another one of their 20 experiences adapted for all ages. You can also reserve a play session for 1-4 people or the whole centre for kids parties or groups of up to 15 players.
Since Athena is too young to try our VR at home, Tremblant’s Virtual Reality Experience Centre gave her the opportunity to enjoy VR first-hand rather than just watching us.
T-Bar Family Activity
T Bar is a unique and interactive experience allowing guests of all ages to create and personalize a t-shirt. You can customize your shirt using one of the many techniques available and bring home the ultimate souvenir. It’s a great way to kill time no matter who you’re with.
They offer handmade Mont Tremblant souvenirs tees as well. Located in Mont Tremblant Village, it’s the ideal location to get out of the cold and into your own customized t-shirt.
We painted t-shirts and added our hand prints to the back for a completely personalized experience.
Early Dinner at SoCal Kitchen
If you had La Pizzateria for lunch, you might want a lighter dinner, especially since it’s going to be early so you can make it to sliding that evening. SoCal Kitchen creates California-style cuisine made with fresh, healthy and local ingredients.
Sliding Evenings with Tremblant Privilege Vouchers
Every night during the winter season, the Mont Tremblant bunny hill beside Fairmont Tremblant is designated sliding space. One side of the hill is devoted to Zipfy sleds while the other side features two tubing runs (down which up to six people can slide together). Brightly lit with music playing, it’s fun for the whole family. Even better, it’s free if you’re staying at a Tremblant property.
Day Two – Mont Tremblant Winter Itinerary
Wake up and enjoy breakfast in your suite before heading up the mountain for a morning of skiing or snowboarding.
Private Snowboard/Ski lesson
It wouldn’t be a Mont Tremblant winter bucket list without skiing. Children ages 3-12 can enjoy a half day or full-day group ski or snowboard lesson. Whether it’s for one day or a longer stay, kids will improve their skiing or snowboarding technique with children their own age and level while sharing a memorable experience with a certified instructor.
Adult lessons are also available. Tremblant Snow School offers adult group lessons from 2-hour to 7-days. Adult group lessons are offered to skiers and snowboarders aged 13 and over.
If you’d prefer even more one-on-one time with the instructor, Mont Tremblant offers private or semi-private lessons. Whether on skis or on a snowboard, you can quickly improve your technique and pick the duration of your lesson according to your needs.
Athena participated in a two-hour private snowboarding lesson at Mont Tremblant and she went from complete beginner to boarding down the bunny hill on her own. If you’re passionate about skiing or snowboarding, a private lesson will quickly get you where you want to be on the mountain.
Le Shack
One of the most popular Mont Tremblant restaurants in the pedestrian village is Le Shack. It stands at the foot of the south side of Mont Tremblant and despite it’s large size, you’ll still need to wait for a table at lunch and dinner time. It’s worth the wait though!
The “Big Shack,” made of 100% pure beef, is their signature burger and, served with home fries, one of our most popular requests. But they also offer large salads, a daily fish dish, and various other entrees.
What I love about the Shack is the atmosphere. It made me feel like I was in my hometown surrounded by people that I’d known my whole life, which is why I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with gravy, green peas, and fries. It was like having my mother’s home-cooking.
Dune Buggy Activity
The Dune Buggy is an all-terrain vehicle that drives just like a car but it’s smaller and better equipped to drive on winter trails. Have a blast with the whole family riding on winding mountain trails on this guided excursion. You’re in an enclosed heated cabin for winter so on the days that it’s too cold to be on the mountain skiing or boarding, this is the ideal option. Each dune buggy seats four. You can drive one yourself or hop in the passenger seat for the ride of your life. This experience is about a 20 minute drive from Mont Tremblant Village but you can make all reservations beforehand and directions are included on your schedule.
Dinner at La Forge
La Forge Steakhouse serves the best maplewood grilled specialties in Mont-Tremblant. They have exclusive Japanese A5 Wagyu beef and other custom dishes to make your mouth water. It stands at the foot of the south side of Mont Tremblant and offers second floor views of the mountain and the village.
Day Three – Mont Tremblant Winter Itinerary
Breakfast on your own at your hotel.
First Tracks
Be the first to carve the fresh snow with your First Tracks pass that is complimentary with Lodging Privileges. Get on the lifts 45 minutes before the official opening. You’ll have access to designated lifts as early as 7:45 a.m. You can ski on designated North Side slopes at 8 a.m and you have access to Le Grand Manitou cafeteria at 8 a.m. to enjoy breakfast at the summit.
Complimentary with Lodging Privileges
Stay in one of the lodges at the heart of the pedestrian village, mountainside, or golfs and take advantage of various free activities! These privileges are included for guests staying at Tremblant in participating hotels.
Casey’s
The most relaxed of the Mont Tremblant restaurants that we visited, Casey’s offers new flavors with a kick. Their portions are a great fit for the mega appetite you build from hitting the slopes all day and their food is bursting with flavor.
We each ordered something wildly different but we couldn’t leave without trying their fired pickles. The spicy sauce added just the right amount of zest to the pickles and they were filled with juicy goodness.
Mission Laser

Via mont-tremblant.ca
Mission Laser is a state-of-the-art laser tag arena that combines the latest high-tech gear and thrilling action to offer an exciting indoor activity in Tremblant.
Here’s your chance to take off all your winter gear and get into combat mode in a friendly game of laser tag.
We saved this for the end of the Mont Tremblant winter itinerary because you’re not going to want to ski after laser tag. Even though running isn’t allowed, you will work up a sweat.
